Wedding at St Margaret's Rottingdean

St Margaret's Church, dating back to the 13th century, is in the village of Rottingdean, in the city of Brighton & Hove. This church has a fascinating history and many of the graves hold notable characters of the past right up to legendary rock guitarist Gary Moore. The church holds dark tales too of Pirates and Invaders...

The Forest Lawn Memorial Park in California loved it so much they wanted to shift the church literally brick by brick and reconstruct it within its grounds. This was refused, so they built a replica!

Fast forward to 2022 - Karen and Giuseppe got married here. I photographed the ceremony and a few family shots in the grounds opposite that used to belong to Rudyard Kipling. Rottingdean is heaped with history and is a great place to tie the knot! Please have a look at some of the memories from this great day below.
